LEEDS ANIMATION WORKSHOP

Leeds Animation Workshop is a not-for-profit collective established in 1978 in the eponymous Yorkshire city, run by women. It produces and distributes animated films about social issues including gender equality, sexism, racism, domestic violence, migrant domestic slavery, and climate change. Its films, developed in partnership with dedicated communities, are widely distributed. The group also organises public film screenings and local animation workshops for individuals or community groups.
